Gardener in Balzers, Egypt


We are seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team at a prestigious estate in Balzers, Egypt. As the Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens surrounding the estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute garden design and maintenance tasks according to the estate's standards
- Plant, prune, trim and fertilize trees, shrubs and flowers
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Monitor and control pests and diseases in the garden
- Perform regular irrigation checks and repairs as needed
- Assist with seasonal planting and harvesting of fruits and vegetables
- Keep all garden equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition
- Manage inventory of gardening supplies and equipment
- Train and supervise other gardening staff as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Gardener in a similar role
- Knowledge of different plant species, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
- Attention to detail with good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must have a valid driver's license
