Librarian Assistant
Location: Dar Kulaib, Bahrain



We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian Assistant to join our team at the Dar Kulaib Public Library. As a Librarian Assistant, you will assist in organizing and maintaining the library's collection, providing excellent customer service to library patrons, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a full-time position, open to women without experience, with a salary of 1300$.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the library's collection
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to library patrons
- Conduct basic reference interviews and assist patrons in finding materials
- Assist with administrative tasks such as cataloging, shelving, and processing new materials
- Help plan and implement library programs and events
- Keep library facilities clean and organized
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of library operations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
