French Language Tutor
As a French Language Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the French language. You will create lesson plans, conduct assessments, and provide feedback to help students improve their skills. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month. This job is based in Umm-Salal, Qatar and is open to both native French speakers as well as non-native speakers fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their language skills
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to make learning fun and interactive
- Stay updated on current teaching methods and techniques for teaching French as a foreign language
Requirements:
- Fluent in French (native or near-native level)
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a language tutor or teacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Flexible schedule to accommodate students' availability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching certification or diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (TEFEL)
- Experience teaching online or using virtual learning platforms
- Experience living or working abroad
