Indian Chef
We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our restaurant in Ashdod. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes, while also maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Your main duties will include preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and overseeing kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create traditional Indian dishes using fresh ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Oversee kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed
- Train new kitchen staff on Indian cooking techniques and recipes
- Order necessary supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure all food safety standards are met
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent taste and presentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred but not required
Salary: 1800$ per month. This is a full-time position with potential for growth within the company.
