Pastry Chef
A luxury hotel in the bustling city of Moscow is seeking a skilled and highly experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing our pastry menu, managing a team of pastry cooks, and ensuring high-quality and delicious desserts for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new pastry techniques and menu items
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
- Train and supervise pastry cooks in proper preparation techniques
- Create visually appealing and delicious desserts for guests
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Oversee budgeting and cost control for the pastry department
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must have experience managing a team of pastry cooks
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, chocolate work, and sugar art
- Ability to create unique and visually stunning desserts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Russian is a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Moscow, Russia
