Architectural Designer



Our architectural design firm located in the picturesque Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled and creative Architectural Designer to join our team. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing building plans and construction documents for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Develop construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws
- Collaborate with the project team including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Attend site visits and meetings with clients as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in architectural design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other CAD software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and project team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in the Faroe Islands. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work without accommodation.
