Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Funchal. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$, suitable for men with at least 3 years of experience in metalworking. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of metals, including steel and aluminum, and be able to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components using various tools such as saws, shears, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal materials to ensure accuracy
- Operate machinery such as grinders, lathes, and drills to shape and cut metal pieces
- Use hand tools to finish, polish, or clean metal surfaces
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or operating heavy machinery

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Proficient in using various metalworking tools and equipment
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of metals, their properties, and uses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately according to specifications
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Location: This position is based in Funchal but may require travel within the city or surrounding areas.
