Metal Fabricator


We are a metal fabrication company located in Funchal and we are looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts to create various products such as machinery, tools, and structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on material using rulers, measuring tapes, or other marking devices
- Cut and shape metal using manual or automated tools such as saws, shears, drills, grinders, and plasma cutters
- Weld or join metal pieces together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Operate bending machines to bend metal into desired shapes
- Use hand tools to smooth out rough edges or surfaces of the finished product
- Assemble metal parts by bolting, riveting or welding them together according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Fabricator in a similar industry
- Must have a biometric passport for travel purposes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in operating manual and automated metalworking equipment
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
