Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Vejle, Denmark on a contract basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various publications, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. You must have experience using typesetting software and have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in layout and design. This role requires excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines. Accommodation will not be provided for this position. Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vejle, Denmark

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography and design principles
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications using typesetting software
- Ensure accuracy of content, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality publications
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments or corrections based on feedback from team members or clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology.
