Part-time Librarian in Al-Kuwait


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-time Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library services and resources. This position is suitable for men and does not require English proficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Promote library services and resources through outreach efforts
- Create engaging displays and programs to encourage library use
- Maintain accurate records of library materials and patron accounts
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and implement new services or programs
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of librarianship
- Maintain a clean and organized library space for patrons to use

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Experience working in a library setting (preferred)
- Fluency in Nepali or Kenyan languages (required)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library cataloging systems preferred
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings and weekends if needed

Salary: 900$ per month (based on experience)

Location: Al-Kuwait (must be willing to commute)
