Database Administrator
We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Utena. As a Database Administrator, your main responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain our company's databases. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of the databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases according to business needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing proper backups and disaster recovery plans
- Optimize database performance by regularly monitoring and tuning
- Collaborate with other teams to identify database needs and provide solutions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as data archiving, indexing, and updating statistics
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the database field
- Provide technical support to users when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
- Experience with database design principles and data modeling techniques
- Strong understanding of database security protocols and disaster recovery strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
Salary: $1700/month (with accommodation provided)
