Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure proper maintenance and optimization of databases, as well as troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Your primary goal will be to ensure data is properly stored and accessible to authorized users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures based on business needs
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate with IT team for resolution
- Develop procedures for data backup, archiving, and recovery
- Manage user access levels and permissions to ensure data confidentiality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL programming language
- Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Utena, Lithuania

Preference will be given to Indian candidates who have experience working in an English-speaking environment. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. Candidates must have their own visa or work permit for Lithuania.
