Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Dubai. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all bakery and pastry items for our establishment. This includes creating new and innovative menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising junior pastry chefs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts. Responsibilities:
- Create new and unique pastries, cakes, breads, and other bakery items
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Order necessary ingredients to maintain stock levels
- Train junior pastry chefs on techniques, procedures, and recipes
- Oversee production schedule to ensure timely delivery of baked goods
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Develop cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability goals are met
- Ensure compliance with health codes and sanitation standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Proven track record of creating innovative pastries with visual appeal
- Strong knowledge of different types of flour, yeast, sugar, etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and train staff
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts is preferred

Salary: $1500/month (tax-free) + benefits (accommodation, transportation)
Location: Dubai (candidates from all nationalities are welcome)
