Barista

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at a busy coffee shop in Hawalli. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, as well as providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. Preference will be given to Indian nationals with their own visa and fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks according to customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages served
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash register and handle transactions with customers
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a busy cafe or restaurant
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of different types of coffees, teas, and other beverages
- Proven ability to operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

This job is located in Hawalli.
