IT Support Specialist



As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our company's employees. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining computer systems and networks. You will also be responsible for managing user accounts and permissions, ensuring data backups are performed regularly, and providing training to employees on various technology tools.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues reported by employees through phone, email or in person
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems including hardware, software, printers, scanners, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and virus scans on all company devices
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems
- Create documentation for common technical issues and provide training to employees on the use of technology tools
- Set up new devices for employees including laptops, desktops, smartphones, etc.
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly to prevent data loss
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to resolve complex technical issues

We are looking for a highly organized individual with a passion for technology who can work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with working hours from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
