Warehouse Logistics Assistant

We are a logistics company in Almada seeking a Warehouse Logistics Assistant to join our team. As a Warehouse Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods
- Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy of products and quantities
- Use hand-held scanners to track inventory and update records
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory accurately
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
