We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Atlanta. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop and implement plans for restoration and preservation, adhering to local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of historical buildings
- Conduct research on the historical significance of buildings and incorporate this knowledge into preservation plans
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration projects
- Monitor restoration projects to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion within budget
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies regarding preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historical preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and preservation techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various professionals
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough research on historical buildings
- Experience working with government agencies is preferred
- Must be fluent in English
