Senior Architect - Design and Construction Manager (Atlanta, USA)


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our growing team in Atlanta. As the Design and Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our architectural projects from initial concept to final construction. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for various projects, including developing conceptual designs, creating construction documents, and coordinating with consultants and contractors
- Oversee all stages of construction, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications
- Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and provide innovative design solutions
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints
- Conduct site visits to review progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions
- Mentor junior architects and oversee their work to maintain quality standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design and construction management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients, contractors, and team members
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Architectural license in the state of Georgia or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Atlanta
- LEED accreditation
- Experience managing large-scale projects with budgets over $10 million

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week along with benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.
