Part-Time Librarian in Svalbard

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Svalbard. As a Part-Time Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of our library, as well as providing excellent customer service to our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the cataloging, shelving, and organization of library materials
- Provide reference and research assistance to library users
- Develop and implement library programs and activities for all ages
- Maintain library records and statistics
- Handle circulation transactions, including checking out materials and collecting fines
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and promote library events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library setting is required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates should have their own housing arrangements.
