Junior Librarian
Are you passionate about books and helping others discover the joy of reading? Do you have a knack for organization and attention to detail? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Junior Librarian in Svalbard!

As a Junior Librarian, you will assist in the daily operations of the library, including cataloguing and shelving books, assisting patrons with finding materials, and maintaining order in the library. You will also have the opportunity to help plan and execute events and programs to engage the community in reading and learning.

We are seeking a candidate with a love for literature and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred, but not required. Prior experience working in a library setting is also desirable.

This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our library system. As this job does not include accommodation, we highly encourage local candidates to apply. However, we are open to considering candidates from outside Svalbard who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
