Part Time Librarian
We are in need of a part-time Librarian to join our team at our library in Faro. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection, providing assistance to library patrons, and overseeing the daily operations of the library. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in a library setting who is looking for a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Assist library patrons with finding and accessing materials
- Conduct research for patrons upon request
- Oversee the daily operations of the library, including opening/closing procedures and handling any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of loaned materials and ensure their return
- Keep track of inventory and order new materials as needed
- Plan and implement programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a library or similar environment preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist patrons and communicate with team members
- Familiarity with cataloging systems and databases
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
