Pastry Chef - Al-Kuwait (Malayalee Applicants Preferred)


We are hiring a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delectable pastries, cakes, and desserts. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in satisfying our customers' sweet cravings. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients. As a Malayalee applicant, you should also have a good understanding of traditional Indian desserts. Salary: 900$ per month (tax-free)

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Proficient in various baking techniques and methods
- Knowledge of different ingredients and their functions in pastry making
- Familiarity with traditional Indian desserts preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation of pastries
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:
- Create unique and visually appealing pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Prepare doughs, fillings, icings, decorations, etc.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, etc.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met for all products
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for baking
- Follow recipes accurately while also adding your own creative touch when needed
- Collaborate with other team members to plan menus and new pastry ideas
- Train junior pastry chefs on techniques and recipes when required
