Courier Delivery Specialist (Svalbard)


As a Courier Delivery Specialist in Svalbard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of packages and documents to various locations within the city. This full-time job requires a high level of physical fitness and experience in courier services. The ideal candidate will also have a valid biometric passport and be able to work efficiently in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Pick up packages from designated locations and ensure their secure transportation
- Plan the most efficient route for delivery based on time and distance
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to the intended recipients
- Collect payments, signatures, and feedback from customers upon delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and report any issues or discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in courier services or related field
- Valid biometric passport for international deliveries
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with Svalbard city roads
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
