Job Summary
We are looking for a self-driven International Logistics & Business Development Executive who can handle end-to-end international logistics operations along with generating new business. The role involves managing air and sea shipments, coordinating with international clients, handling complete documentation, and bringing in new customers for logistics/trading services.
This is a complete ownership role suited for someone who understands both operations and sales in international logistics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Generate new international and domestic clients for logistics / import-export services
- Identify new business opportunities through cold emails, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry contacts
- Communicate with international clients regarding logistics solutions, freight options, and timelines
- Prepare and share quotations and close deals
- Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business
2. International Logistics Operations
- Handle end-to-end logistics operations for export and import shipments
- Manage air and sea shipments independently
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, CHA, transporters, and overseas agents
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and manage all export/import documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice & Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Shipping Instructions
- Insurance & compliance documents
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms
4. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as a single point of contact for clients from booking to final delivery
- Coordinate with international buyers, sellers, agents, and vendors
- Resolve shipment, customs, or documentation issues efficiently
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–6 years experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import–export
- Strong understanding of air & sea freight operations
- Prior experience in business development / sales in logistics
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and export-import documentation
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
- Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and CRM tools (if any)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or Commerce
- Existing client network in logistics or international trade (big plus)
- Experience working with overseas clients (UAE, Europe, USA, Asia preferred)
