Speech Therapist

The role of a Speech Therapist is to assess, diagnose and treat individuals who have difficulties with communication, speech and language. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with people of all ages and backgrounds, including children with developmental delays, adults with speech disorders or individuals recovering from strokes or injuries. You will develop personalized treatment plans and use a variety of techniques to help improve speech and language skills. This position requires strong communication skills, patience and empathy. Experience in working with diverse populations is preferred. This job is suitable for both men and women.

Located in Medina, this job is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.

Salary: $1000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct speech assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Implement various therapy techniques to improve speech and language skills
- Work closely with clients, families and other professionals to monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Provide counseling and support for clients and their families
- Keep detailed records of client progress
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech therapy

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Speech Therapist
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills
- Patience, empathy and understanding
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of different therapy techniques
- Familiarity with assistive technology for communication
