Our library is seeking a passionate and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and finding resources, and promoting literacy and learning within the community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a love for books and a desire to contribute to the education and enrichment of others.

Responsibilities:
- Catalogue new books and materials into the library system
- Maintain accurate records of all library materials
- Assist patrons in locating resources and provide reference services
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and encourage reading
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs
- Manage budget for purchasing new materials
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature and educational resources
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming library space
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are an asset)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups of patrons
- Knowledge of library systems and technology (e.g. cataloguing software, online databases)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.

Experience:
No prior experience required. We welcome fresh graduates or those looking for their first job opportunity.
