Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our company. This includes preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze budget variances
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow projections
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the Middle East region is a plus.

Salary: 1200$ per month

Location: Al-Kuwait (Visa sponsorship available for foreigners)
