Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. In this role, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have experience working in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate meeting rooms
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and invoicing
- Monitoring office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Coordinating with vendors for maintenance and repairs
- Assisting with travel arrangements for staff members
- Supporting other team members with various tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: 1500$ per month
City: Sharjah
