Housekeeping Manager


We are hiring a Housekeeping Manager for our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing and supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including managing and training staff
- Create work schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient cleaning of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and address any necessary repairs or maintenance
- Manage budget for housekeeping department and order necessary supplies within budget constraints
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness standards and improve efficiency
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate guest needs, special requests, and VIP services
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures in all housekeeping operations

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel or resort
- Proven track record of managing housekeeping staff effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills in English (Nepali language skills preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, products, and safety protocols
- Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed

Salary: $1300 per month (tax-free) + benefits including accommodation, transportation, medical insurance
