Sous Chef
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food production. This is a temporary position with a salary of 1600$, including accommodation. Candidates must have a biometric passport and no English language skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen equipment and handle any maintenance issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of overall operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills (Arabic or any other language)
- Biometric passport is mandatory for non-Egyptian candidates
