Petroleum Engineer



A leading oil and gas company in Ar-Ruwais is currently seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. You will also be involved in the evaluation of drilling sites and the development of plans to optimize production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis to identify potential drilling sites
- Designing drilling programs and determining the most effective extraction methods
- Overseeing drilling operations and monitoring production levels
- Analyzing data to ensure efficient extraction processes
- Identifying any potential risks or issues that may affect production
- Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to develop comprehensive plans
- Implementing new technologies and techniques to enhance production efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or a relevant role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in the use of engineering software such as Petra, Eclipse, or CMG
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to work on-site at remote locations

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Ar-Ruwais, one of the largest industrial cities in the United Arab Emirates. Our company provides accommodation for all employees.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with an initial duration of 1 year. However, there is potential for extension based on performance.
