Barista - Specialty Coffee Maker

Our specialty coffee shop in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high quality coffee and other beverages to our customers. This position requires a passion for coffee making and an ability to create latte art. We are looking for someone who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies
- Maintain knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all drinks are made according to our recipes and quality standards
- Keep the store clean and organized at all times
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Barista or in a similar role (preferably in specialty coffee)
- A passion for coffee making with knowledge of different beans, roasting methods, brewing techniques, etc.
- Ability to create latte art is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

Salary: $1300/month (tax-free) + tips

*This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Indian candidates.
