Pastry Chef



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. Our company is a prestigious establishment known for its high-quality desserts and pastries. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing various types of pastries, cakes, and other desserts.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide variety of desserts, such as cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, tarts, and more
- Develop new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings
- Ensure all recipes are followed accurately and consistently to maintain the highest quality standards
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen assistants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen according to health codes
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan menus and coordinate dessert offerings with main courses

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or relevant field
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, including decorating skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Strong time-management skills to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month (tax-free) for this full-time position. Other benefits include medical insurance, annual leave, accommodation allowance (for foreigners), flight ticket allowance (for foreigners), uniform allowance, staff meals during working hours.
