Indian Chef in Dubai


We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Dubai. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, maintaining the kitchen and food inventory, and ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to recipes and standards
- Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure food quality and freshness by keeping track of expiration dates and properly storing ingredients
- Train new kitchen staff on proper food handling, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or improve existing ones
- Monitor portion sizes to control food costs and minimize waste
- Comply with all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, ingredients, and regional variations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and management team
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the kitchen

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month. Other benefits such as accommodation, transportation, health insurance may be provided depending on the candidate's qualifications.

Location:
This position is based in Dubai. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Dubai.
