First Class Sailor - El-Fujairah, UAE


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Class Sailor to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a First Class Sailor, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the vessel's equipment and systems, following all safety procedures and protocols, and ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel.

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sailor 1st class
- Valid seafarer's documents and certifications
- Ability to work full time without accommodation provided
- Must have a valid UAE visa or willing to obtain one upon hiring

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all equipment on board the vessel, including engines, navigational tools, communication systems, etc.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust navigation accordingly
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vessel
- Perform regular maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Prepare logs and reports as required by the captain or company policies
- Assist with docking and undocking procedures when needed
- Act as a lookout during navigation to identify potential hazards or obstacles

Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of marine operations, safety regulations, and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical fitness for performing duties on board (lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders/ropes)
- Ability to adapt to changing situations quickly
