Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (El-Ain, Canada)



Our renowned fine dining restaurant in El-Ain is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Canadian national, you will bring your expertise and creativity to our kitchen, while also incorporating local flavors and ingredients into our menu.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, and staff management
- Create innovative dishes that reflect both Canadian cuisine and local influences
- Ensure high quality standards are consistently met in food presentation and taste
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and menu knowledge
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian cuisine with a passion for incorporating local ingredients into dishes
- Ability to manage a team while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (French is an asset)
- Valid work permit for Canada (if not a Canadian citizen)
