Electrical Engineer - Doha, Qatar


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various projects. Your main duties will include conducting feasibility studies, performing calculations and analysis, creating technical drawings and specifications, and overseeing the installation and testing of electrical systems.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. You must have a strong understanding of electrical principles and codes as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems for buildings, equipment, or other projects
- Developing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conducting feasibility studies to determine project viability
- Performing calculations and analysis to ensure optimal design solutions
- Creating technical drawings using specialized software
- Overseeing the installation of electrical systems and components
- Testing systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshooting issues that may arise during construction or operation
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on project teams

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)
- Valid Qatari residence permit (own visa) is preferred
