Pastry Chef for a Luxury Hotel in Doha

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Doha. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-end restaurants or hotels and be able to create visually stunning and delicious pastries. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for managing the pastry section of our kitchen, including ordering supplies, designing menus, and training junior chefs. You must have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing and tasty pastries that meet our customers' expectations
- Design menus for desserts, breads, cakes, and other pastry items
- Train junior chefs on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all food safety standards are met
- Monitor production costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new pastry ideas and special event menus
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in high-end restaurants or hotels
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
- Ability to create visually stunning pastries that also taste delicious
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train junior chefs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent English communication skills
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
