Head Pastry Chef

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Lusail. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, including creating and implementing new menu items, managing inventory and supplies, and training and supervising our pastry team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning pastries, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry menu items that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences
- Create cost-effective recipes that maintain quality standards while minimizing waste
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise pastry team members on preparation techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ensure all pastries are prepared and presented according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments for special events or menu changes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve our pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited culinary school preferred
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques including breads, cakes, pastries, etc.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Ability to create visually appealing pastries while maintaining taste and quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food safely
- Fluent English communication skills required
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends

Salary: 1100$ per month
