Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Lusail. As the head of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all our delicious pastries and desserts. Your creativity and passion for baking will be key in developing new and exciting menu items that will keep our customers coming back for more.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire pastry operation, including production, ordering, and inventory management.
- Create new pastry and dessert menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Train and mentor pastry team members on proper techniques, recipes, and presentation.
- Ensure high quality standards are consistently met in all pastry items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to health codes.
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan seasonal menus and special events.
- Monitor food costs and adjust recipes as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of traditional French pastry techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lead a team effectively, delegate tasks, and provide guidance when needed.
- Passion for creating new flavors and innovative desserts.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Urdu is a plus).

$1100 per month
