Librarian - Al-Khor, Qatar


We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, digital resources, and other materials. You will also assist students and faculty with research and finding relevant resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, magazines, journals, and other materials
- Catalogue new materials using the library's database system
- Assist students and faculty with research projects by helping them find relevant resources
- Develop and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and love for reading
- Manage the library's budget for purchasing new materials
- Collaborate with teachers to incorporate library resources into lesson plans
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in library science to improve services offered by the library

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and database management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and other staff members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $900 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Al-Khor, Qatar
Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates. This job is open to all nationalities. English proficiency is preferred but not required.
