Crane Operator


We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials. Your main duty will be to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overloading
- Communicate with other workers on job site to ensure safe movement of materials
- Maneuver crane into position using hand and foot signals or by following instructions from supervisors
- Read and interpret construction plans and diagrams to determine the proper placement of materials
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and moved for reporting purposes
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes such as lubricating moving parts, cleaning, and performing minor repairs as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating various types of cranes
- Strong understanding of safety protocols when operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read construction plans and diagrams
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills
