Instrument Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various instruments used in industrial processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate various instruments, such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Create and maintain documentation of instrument specifications, maintenance records, and calibration procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify potential improvements or upgrades for instruments or equipment
- Train new technicians on instrument installation and maintenance procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of different types of instruments used in industrial processes and their functions
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with various tools used for installation, repair, and calibration of instruments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
