Head Chef - Pakistani Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our Pakistani cuisine kitchen team in Bayan. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and designing new menus, managing food inventory and ordering, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Pakistani cuisine menus that appeal to our diverse customer base
- Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain high quality standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management team to plan special events or promotions featuring Pakistani cuisine
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all health codes and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team of kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of Pakistani cuisine with ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong communication skills with ability to effectively train, motivate, and lead a team
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
