Job Title: Librarian

A reputable library in Bayan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced librarian to join our team. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our extensive collection of books, journals, and other resources. Your main duties will include cataloging materials, assisting patrons in finding information, and maintaining the library's digital resources.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and digital resources
- Familiarity with different research methodologies
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Biometric passport for identification purposes

Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Catalog new materials using appropriate classification systems
- Assist patrons in finding information and conducting research
- Manage the library's digital resources, including databases and online catalogs
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading among patrons
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan events and workshops for the community
- Train library staff on new technologies or procedures as needed
- Ensure that the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for all patrons

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
