Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Bayan, Nepal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in manufacturing and production processes. Your main duties will include troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and identify the root cause of problems
- Perform preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and implement new technologies
- Provide training to new employees on proper instrument handling techniques
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Experience with calibration software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1300 USD per month
