Baker (Indian Cuisine)
We are seeking an experienced Baker specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Ar Rumaythiyah. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of Indian breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to traditional recipes and standards. You must have a strong understanding of Indian flavors and techniques, as well as the ability to create unique and delicious menu items. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Baker in a professional kitchen, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine. Knowledge of baking equipment and techniques is essential, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position does not require English proficiency and does not include accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of Indian breads, pastries, and other baked goods following traditional recipes
- Create new and innovative menu items that showcase the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are presented attractively
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Operate baking equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Baker in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of Indian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of baking equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills to meet production deadlines
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Food safety certification preferred but not required
Salary: $1200/month
