Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine in Hawalli, Kuwait
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our Indian restaurant kitchen in Hawalli, Kuwait. Our restaurant specializes in authentic Indian cuisine and we are looking for a creative and passionate chef to oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create new menu items while ensuring quality and authenticity of Indian flavors
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique and flavorful dishes while maintaining consistency
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus)
- Valid work visa for Kuwait (visa sponsorship available)
- Salary: 1700$ per month
