Merchandiser
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability for our company. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze market trends to make informed decisions on product placement and pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans for different product categories
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Plan and execute promotions, special offers, and product displays
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and make replenishment recommendations
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising plans
- Train store staff on product knowledge and effective merchandising techniques
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis purposes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within the city as needed
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. This job is suitable for men with own visa. Accommodation will not be provided. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Canadians or Filipinos.
