Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Jeddah is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all technical equipment used in our broadcasting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for radio and experience in technical maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all radio broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, audio consoles, microphones, antennas, and satellite receivers
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all technical equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts
- Monitor audio levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality sound output
- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance schedules and repairs
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operation of all technical aspects during live shows
- Stay updated on industry advancements in radio technology and suggest upgrades or improvements when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio broadcast systems, including transmitters, antennas, audio consoles, microphones, and satellite receivers
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Familiarity with audio editing software is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Location:
This position is located in Jeddah but we welcome applicants from all nationalities. English proficiency is not required for this role.

Experience Level:
No previous experience is required for this position. We are open to hiring both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates who are passionate about radio and have a strong technical background.
